We may not be Depeche Mode, but we still can’t get enough of Quirk’s awesome conferences this year. We started out at the very first European event from the Quirk’s team in London in February, where we presented on automation and choosing the right platform alongside Zappi. They invited us back to speak again at the Brooklyn event in March on a similar topic. While it was fantastic to share our insights from the stage, both events also had great networking and meetup opportunities. We’re looking forward to more of this at the final Quirk’s event of the year in Chicago.

There’s a reason why this event series is so popular in the market research community. Quirk’s Media brought its dedication to promoting the understanding, use and value of marketing research and customer insights across all industries to the development of these events. With a vision of providing a low-cost, inclusive conference for marketing researchers, they founded the first event in 2015. It continues to grow!

In Chicago next month, our team is excited to see some new faces and connect with colleagues, as well as hearing from several of the speakers. Brands like The Gap, Microsoft and Heinz will be sharing their consumer insights stories, and leaders in the space will be talking about strategy, artificial intelligence, customer experience and much more. Hearing how automation is being applied on the quant side from Johnsonville and Zappi should be interesting, as well as the session by Stockwell Strategy and L&E Research about how learning from respondents can influence quality.

We will definitely be participating in the exhibit hall, and learning about new things our colleagues in the industry are up to. But who are we kidding? We’ll really be there to play skeeball, get a caricature sketch, win prizes from a TV to a suitcase to a getaway trip, and, of course, visit with Curious George or Scooby Doo depending on who shows up. Maybe it’ll be someone new?
