We recently returned from Germany, where we attended, exhibited and presented at the largest trade show in EMEA for the data and insights industry, Research and Results. The conference claims to be one of the most important events for the industry where global agencies, software providers, field researchers and data specialists come together to learn, share and network with each other. We have to agree! There were attendees from a wide range of companies within the space, and we were excited to be able to connect with them.

This year, we attended with our new parent company, Cint, which had a significant presence at the event with an exhibition stand, two speaking engagements and sponsorship of the event goodie bags. Our team was happy to meet some of their new colleagues from the CINT EMEA team in person, as well as conducting more than 40 fruitful meetings with multinational clients. Because this event is formatted a bit differently from other industry events – with no entrance fee and a fast-paced program – we found that the cross-section of individuals represented at the show was a bit more robust than some other conferences.

The content tracks were informative and we noticed a strong focus on new technology and innovation. Cint presented with Zappi during two separate sessions: “Industry Trends in Data Quality and Prevention of Survey Fraud” and  “Shattering the Iron Triangle: Delivering Iterative Learning Through Automation.” We had engaged audience members and many great questions. We’re looking forward to presenting again with Zappi next week at TMRE in Las Vegas.

The Research Club event after day one of the show was a highlight for our team! This well-organized event boasted a fantastic turnout, and turned into a late night of networking and fun with colleagues, clients and new contacts. The Research Club hosts business networking events which provide the opportunity to make new contacts, develop national and international business opportunities and keep up to date with the latest industry developments.

We’ll be back – see you in Munich in 2020.
